To kick off All The Skirts: Jocole & Urban Sew, we started in a very, very comfortable place; the Yoga A-line Skirt.  We’ve already sewn this skirt three times, so we knew it would be a great skirt to get this edition of All The Skirts started off right!  Allegra insisted she needed a maxi version of this skirt, (her other version is knee length) and it looks like she was right!

Let us tell you a little more about the Jocole A-Line yoga skirt.  There a quite a few different options for sewing up this skirt.  So you can sew up the same pattern several times and get a different look every time, with the same awesome comfort.  You can change the length to 9 different variations.

There are 2 different waistband options too, a tall, fold over yoga waistband, or the shorter waistband you see here.  Equally comfortable (we know, we’ve made the fold over one for Aria and Audrey’s skirts!)  Or you could use patterned fabric, like we did on Allegra’s first A-line Yoga skirt, for a completely different look.

The thing that makes all the difference with this version is the knit fabric from Urban Sew.  We used the Westminster/Free Spirit knit 100% cotton fabric in coco, and it is very comfortable.  Feeling like you’re wearing a t-shirt, but looking like you’re about step onto a red carpet!  Seriously delicious fabric.

As you can see, the Yoga A-line skirt, made with this fabric from Urban Sew, holds it own without any styling at all.  But be sure to come back next week, and we’ll show you five other ways to style a Yoga A-Line skirt.  If you want a skirt to flatter your figure, we’ve found it; the Jocole Yoga A-line skirt.  Each of us have different figures, and we all l.o.v.e. our Yoga A-line skirts!
