This post is a few days overdue, but since we love seeing the end of year round ups on everyone else’s blogs, we decided to do it again this year.
First of all, we gave away 23 skirts this year! Over 1/2 of those were from the awesome skirt sewing event we held in July. That was definitely a highlight of this year.
We also gave away over $1200 worth of sewing swag both here and over at Sewing Stadium. We love giveaways and are always hosting giveaways, so be sure to come back often. And if you don’t want to miss a single post, be sure to subscribe over in the sidebar.
The last thing we gave away was 317 FREE patterns for The Pegasus Skirt. We created this free pattern in July, and we’re so delighted so many of you love it too.
We also gave away one quilt and participated in 5 swaps on Instagram this year.
Speaking of Instagram, you can see our top 9 most liked posts here. Oh, and we’re nearing 1000 followers on Instagram, so you know we’ll have a huge giveaway when we hit that milestone.
Another highlight of this year was the surprise birthday party we threw for Katy of No Big Dill. You can see all the rainbows she received on the special pinterest board we made.
We reopened our Etsy shop! We’ve actually sold a few things too!
We joined up with Becca to run Sewing Stadium. We made it through Season 3, the sew along, the sponsor posts, the inspiration post, all of it! And we’re looking forward to Season 4.
Now each of us will have a little summary.
Audrey:
I sewed a lot more things for myself this year. I probably wore the Lane Raglans the most. I successfully cleansed my closet with Becca’s Summer wardrobe challenge. I carry my Senna Tote every day. I sewed for my boys, a lot, which makes me happy!
Allegra:
One of the biggest highlights of this year was contributing to Sew Mama Sew as part of their softies series. I also embroidered five or six of these U.S. maps in many different colors, and successfully sold them! I discovered that I gravitate toward black as the base color in my wardrobe and added several handmade black pieces to my closet.
Aria:
Last year I successfully sewed up several patterns, which was one of my goals for 2015, and I have been working on a quilt. Probably my most worn thing has been my double sided Oliver + S Swing-Set Skirt. I have been able to wear this skirt twice as often as any of my other skirts! I was able to add a few things that haven’t been blogged, and now am ready (and able) to move on to more advanced things!
Annie:
My favorite thing Mommy made for me is my Quinn outfit. I feel so fancy when I wear it. I also loved making my first quilt. And I learned to embroider this year too!
All right! That sums it up for 2015. We’ll be back soon with our goals, events and news for 2016 soon.
Awesome! How about your goal to see your stash? Did the stash shrink or grow? 🙂
