Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess who had a faithful knight as her companion.
Sometimes they did argue about things like who would get the last gummy bear or who got to ride the royal steed, but mostly they got along swimmingly.
The knight protected the princess through many adventures.
They braved nights full of stars and robber bandits.
They staved off attacks by dragons with inferiority complexes.
They conducted pirate raids and snowball fights.
They won battles with zombie pirate dragon snowball bandits.
The princess rewarded the knight by letting him kiss her hand sometimes, and by not letting his head get chopped off.
After all, she was a very beautiful princess and it would’ve been a shame if she didn’t have her knight there to save her from bad things.
The princess put up with a lot from the knight; stuck-out tongues, sassing, and minor conflicts, but there was one thing that she always insisted on.
No matter how terrible the adventure or how heavy the battle there must be one thing straight; her and her knight had to have coordinating outfits.
In the end they lived happily ever after. I mean, who wouldn’t live happily ever after when they’re so fabulously dressed?

I love the extra buttons on the Knight’s pockets – that really balances it all out. Nice touch.

Thanks! I actually had a few extra buttons and took a poll (of my kids) to see where the last two should be sewn on!

They look great! Love that take on princess seams on that dress pattern, and the knight hoodie makes me smile every time I see it! Fun fabric on the leggings and arm warmers too.

Thanks Jenn. The one downside of that gold fabric is how much it sheds when you’re working with it! I was sneezing gold fuzz for hours!

Thanks Beth! That piping was a pain to make and put it because it was so stretchy, but I think in the end it was worth it.
