Ruffle Pencil Skirt DIY Instructions:

How to do it.  This skirt pattern is made for knit fabric, so two modifications need to be made.  First of all, you probably need to go up at least one size.  Look at the finished garment measurements chart to be sure.  Secondly, you need to add a zipper to the side seam so you can get it off and on!  This is not a hard addition, and here’s a good tutorial from Tessuti.

Wow, the DIY wins again!!  Are you seeing a pattern here?  Ha, but seriously, it’s so easy and fun to sew your own couture looking clothes!
