The next pattern we sewed in the Project Smooth Sorbet collection is the Bacio Basic Tee. It is a simple, fast-and-easy t-shirt pattern with a couple of fun options.
The Bacio Basic Tee is refined simplicity. A relaxed silhouette with straight or curved hem options. Finish the neckline with a band, or spice it up with a raw edge neckline finish. This pattern can be sewn in sizes newborn to 14. It is designed for both boys and girls. This pattern features clear and detailed computer drawn illustrations. It is a very basic, easy pattern to sew. If you’ve never sewn a t-shirt before, you should start here!

First of all, we sewed a muslin of the Bacio Basic Tee to check fit and sizing. We used black knit jersey from the stash and grey lightweight jersey for the neckband. The fit was great, so we moved on to the next one.

The 2nd Bacio Basic Tee we sewed using ice dye cotton jersey fabric from Raspberry Creek Fabrics. This is really adorable fabric, and we imagine sewing all sorts of things with it!

Annie says this is a very comfortable t-shirt and she’s been wearing one or the other of these constantly. It’s a good thing the ice dye fabric from Raspberry Creek Fabrics is such good quality and can stand up to the constant wear!

The Bacio Basic Tee pairs really well with the two bottom patterns in the collection! Stay tuned as we show you more of what we sewed.
