The next pattern we sewed from the Project Happy Holidays pattern collection is the Yawn Sleep/Tee pattern.

We actually ended up sewing 3 of this pattern…read on to find out why!
The Yawn Sleep/Tee is an oversized raglan with a large pocket. Yawn Sleep is for nighttime comfort. Yawn Tee is a roomy daytime top. The sleeves have two options: banded or hemmed.
This design features a lined bodice, three lengths: top, knee length dress, maxi length dress with ruffle option – no sleeves or ruffle shoulders options, an A-line gathered skirt, side seam pockets, and back closure with buttons.

The above Yawn Sleep/Tee is sewn using Art Gallery Fabrics apricot yogurt cotton spandex fabric and soft red waffle knit fabrics from Califabrics.

This Yawn Sleep/Tee uses read and white jersey knit fabrics from our fabric stash. This pattern is intended to be a slouchy, oversize tee for sleeping or lounging. It can also be sewn as a longer sleep shirt.

The Yawn Sleep/Tee in the photo above was originally made for Lowell, in a size 7. But we made a rookie mistake and forgot to accommodate for the extra stretchiness of waffle knit fabric and it ended up being way too big! No worries, Annie was very glad to have a new cropped tee to go with her Evergreen Skirt in sweater knit fabric. This one uses dusty red waffle knit fabric and warm white brushed waffle knit fabric, both from Califabrics.
