Next up we sewed the Cinnamon Cardigan from the Project Happy Holidays pattern collection! This is a fun, slouchy, oversize, comfortable cardigan.

The Cinnamon is an oversized cardigan designed for medium weight or bulky knit fabrics. It’s the layer that goes perfectly over shirts, tees and dresses, and looks good on every outfit. View A is finished with a simple hem on the body and sleeves, while view B has a waistband and sleeve cuffs. Both views feature a neckline placket, V-neck and close with buttons. All seams are sewn with a regular straight stitch and it’s an easy and fast sew.

The Cinnamon cardigan pattern is part of the Project Happy Holidays collection from Project Run and Play, and works beautifully paired with the other patterns of the collection as a capsule wardrobe. One way we personalized the Cinnamon Cardigan was by leaving off the buttons and just having it more of a duster variation. We sewed the largest size (14) for Annie.

We paired the Cinnamon Cardigan with the Blip Turtleneck and the Evergreen Skirt. It’s a very lovely combination! The fabric for this Cinnamon Cardigan is liverpool knit from CaliFabrics. It has some texture and is very warm and soft.
