Prancer Pull Ons pattern review

Next up we sewed the Jingle Joggers from the Project Happy Holidays pattern collection! This is THE pull on jeans pattern we’ll be sewing for the boys from now on!

Prancer Pull Ons pattern sewn and reviewed by Skirt Fixation

The Prancer Pull-On Jeans pattern is for stretch jeans made with woven fabric with a bit of stretch added for comfort.  These on-trend jeans have all the style lines and topstitching of traditional jeans, but with a pull􀀁on waistband for ease of wear. The mid-rise height of the waistband sits at the belly button and has 1/4″ (6mm) elastic at the top of the curved waistband to help keep everything in place.  The front pockets extend across the front to create a pocket stay, helping to keep the pocket linings in place even with little hands reaching in and out. That means there’s no need to adjust your child’s pockets throughout the day, which is a big win in the smaller sizes.  The back patch pockets are a great place to feature a fun design to make your child’s jeans truly unique.  There are two leg options: view A is a skinny jeans leg, while view B is a stovepipe straight leg.  With sizing from newborn to 16 years and information about how to get the perfect fit, there’s a Prancer Pull-On Jeans just right for your child!

Things we love about this pattern: no zip fly is necessary for this pattern and this little guy! It has all the jeans look with an easy (comfy) fit waist. The light grey stretch cotton broadcloth fabric from CaliFabrics we used for this pattern is the PERFECT fabric!

We paired the Prancer Pull Ons with the Yawn Tee, and think this couldn’t be a cuter look!
