Adventure Mapped Cotton Jersey Fabric

The next fabric we’d like to share is the Adventure Mapped cotton jersey fabric. We used this to make 2 garments, and they’ve become very fast favorites around here. Adventure Mapped is the main print from the Project Nature Adventure fabric collection. It has elements of all of the other designers fabrics in it, andContinue reading “Adventure Mapped Cotton Jersey Fabric”

Stretch Crepe Tip Top Tunic

The first garment we’re sharing from the Project Nature Adventure collection is a Tip Top Tunic in stretch crepe fabric. This fabric is called “Binoculars” and it’s designed by Delia of Delia Creates. The print is ocean vistas as seen through a binocular view. Stretch crepe is a slightly textured polyester/spandex fabric. It has justContinue reading “Stretch Crepe Tip Top Tunic”

Striped Matching Girls Dresses

A while back I saw a friend of mine wearing a reverse stripe shirt.  Actually, I’m just calling it that…none of the Google search terms I entered brought up a shirt like the one she was wearing.  The body of the shirt was white with black stripes and the sleeves were black with white stripes. Continue reading “Striped Matching Girls Dresses”

Banana Boat Tee & Soleil Skirt

The next patterns I sewed for Project Farmer’s Market are the Banana Boat Tee and the Soleil Skirt patterns.  These are two really fantastic patterns, and I sewed them up for Annie. Read about the D’Anjou Dress from this capsule wardrobe collection here. The Banana Boat Tee can be sewn in sizes 18m – 10. Continue reading “Banana Boat Tee & Soleil Skirt”

Camo Boys and Sweatpants

My two little boys are currently in their camo phase.  Do all boys go through a camo phase?  All my boys have!  If their camo clothes are clean, they refuse to wear anything else.  Scratch that, they wear their camo clothes when they’re dirty, wet, stained, ripped, dusty, ragged, holey and in any possible condition!Continue reading “Camo Boys and Sweatpants”

Janie Dress and Dressage Leggings Outfit

Annie’s fall/winter wardrobe gained another piece!  She’s been watching rather enviously the parade of Janie Dresses I’ve been sewing for Baby Tina, and when I told her it was her turn, she requested this pattern!   Inspired by the week 1 theme at Project Run & Play, Kid Designed – Momma Sewn, I asked AnnieContinue reading “Janie Dress and Dressage Leggings Outfit”

Three Ponte Camden Raglan Tees

Today I’ve got a huge comparison of these three different ponte fabrics over at CaliFabrics.  Please go check it out! Over at CaliFabrics, since it’s such an in depth discussion of the fabric, I don’t really get to share more about the pattern!  This is the Camden Raglan by Hey June Patterns. Since Annie hasContinue reading “Three Ponte Camden Raglan Tees”

Sew the Rainbow

Earlier this summer, I did a bunch of kid sewing that I never shared here!  The inspiration was from the Project Run & Play Sew The Rainbow themed weeks.  (Please go check out Project Run & Play, it’s an online children’s sewing event that I am privileged to lead, and there are some fantastic thingsContinue reading “Sew the Rainbow”

Llama Queen Outfit

Today we’re sharing an outfit Annie has been wearing all spring and summer!  Better late than never when it’s a llama queen outfit, right?   Back when we sewed up some of the other fabrics from Raspberry Creek Fabric’s spring CLUB line, we fell in love with this llama print too.  They’re so, well, llama-ishContinue reading “Llama Queen Outfit”
