We adore the next pattern in the Project Watercolor Beach pattern collection! The Bodhi Board Skirt pattern is such a fun pattern, and I sewed up two of them, but there will be more… Special thanks to Kalli June Photography for the beautiful photography in this post.
The Bodhi Board Skirt is a super fun little skirt with a large cargo pocket. It can be sewn in sizes 1-10, and fortunately that works for both Tina and Annie!
The fabric for Tina’s Bodhi Board Skirt is Blossom Pink & Sage Palm Tree board short fabric from Raspberry Creek Fabrics. It’s really nice to work with, and of course waterproof, so nice to swim in too! This pattern is intended for board short fabric, or microfiber fabric, but can be sewn with any woven fabric. Although you could technically sew any skirt intended for woven fabrics with board short fabric, this one is the first we know that’s intended for it, and we’re in love!
The other Bodhi Board Skirt I sewed is for Annie. We sewed the size 10 for her. This one coordinates beautifully with her Viridian Swimsuit!
The fabric for Annie’s Bodhi Board Skirt is from KnitFabric.com, but it’s currently sold out. However, you can find some really cute ones in their board short fabric section.
That’s the last of the patterns we sewed for Project Watercolor Beach. But they are so inspiring we’ll probably be sewing up the rest, and more of each of these too!
